PROJECTS

With a total investment of 2.182 billion yuan, another photovoltaic project has been completed.

Recently, LONGi Green Energy released a public notice regarding the environmental protection acceptance monitoring report for the completion of the LONGi Solar BC2.0 high-efficiency battery technology upgrade project at LONGi Solar Technology (Xi'an-Xianyang New Area) Co., Ltd. The notice indicates that the project, named the Xi'an-Xianyang LONGi Solar BC2.0 high-efficiency battery technology upgrade project, is located within the Jinghe New City area of Xi'an-Xianyang New Area, Shaanxi Province, south of Yuandian Avenue, north of Jinggan Second Street, east of Yuandian West Second Road, and west of the Baomao Expressway.

Construction Content: The upgrade project involves upgrading existing production equipment, adding high-efficiency energy-saving production equipment, auxiliary production equipment, and intelligent manufacturing-related software systems, as well as interior design and construction of the workshops. Upon completion, the project will achieve a technological upgrade in high-efficiency BC batteries and enhance digital capabilities. Specifically, the production lines in battery workshops 101, 102, and 103 will be completely dismantled (this has already been completed), creating empty factory buildings. New production lines will then be formed using the added equipment and existing equipment.

In 2023, LONGi Green Energy clarified its BC battery strategy and launched HPBC 2.0 related products in 2024, which were well-received by the market, resulting in continuous order growth.

In 2024, LONGi released a prospectus for a public offering of green corporate bonds for technological innovation to professional investors. The prospectus indicated that the 2.182 billion yuan raised from the bond issuance was intended for the construction of the first phase of the LONGi Green Energy Photovoltaic (Xi'an New Area) project, with an annual production capacity of 12.5GW of high-efficiency BC batteries. Of this, 1.888 billion yuan was used for project construction, and 293 million yuan was used to replace the company's own funds already invested in the 12.5GW high-efficiency BC battery project within the 12 months prior to the issuance.

In September 2025, LONGi Green Energy stated in response to investor inquiries that since 2025, the company's high-efficiency HPBC 2.0 module products have been gradually launched into the market, quickly gaining market recognition due to their high conversion efficiency, aesthetically pleasing design, and high safety features, resulting in rapid growth in order volume and shipments.

In the first half of this year, the company shipped approximately 4GW of HPBC2.0 modules, covering more than 70 countries and regions including China, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East and Africa, demonstrating a significant increase in global market acceptance.

Regarding capacity expansion, the company expects HPBC2.0 cell capacity to account for over 60% of its total capacity by the end of 2025. Both its own capacity and outsourced capacity are progressing smoothly.

In November 2025, LONGi Green Energy stated in response to investor inquiries that in the third quarter, BC2.0 modules accounted for over 95% of BC module shipments. With the continued release of the company's BC capacity, BC module shipments are expected to steadily increase in the fourth quarter. Currently, the company's BC module capacity is in the ramp-up phase and is expected to reach 50GW by the end of 2025.
